Can't sleep

Early morning fog around Shelton Washington. So beautiful. I took this while driving... fear not folks I can multi task. And Bob is a praying man!!
Oregon somewhere... it reminded me so much of Vernon that I couldn't believe it!!
The Roadhouse restaurant with Charlie and June. We met them a couple of years ago on a cruise.. such a wonderful couple!! It's been great to reconnect with them! And no.. I didn't have beer! The ribs were to die for though...

It is only 5:26 and I can't sleep. We are staying at our friend's Charlie and June and River Rouge, Oregon.

After we got off the ferry on Thursday evening around 9:30 we drove about 1 1/2 hours to Shelton Washington getting to a little Super 8 hotel tired but thankful for safety so far and a warm bed to crash into.

We left early the next morning and drove from there to River Rouge. It was wonderful because the weather was fantastic, still like summer here, and we made good time. We thought we'd be arriving around 4:00 but we got here at 2:00. Yes you are right....I drove!! :-)

A couple of driving songs that really ministered to me:

Whole World in His Hands by Tim Hughes
Made me Glad by Hillsong.
When we are driving along singing becomes paramount and I love it because it becomes such a beautiful way of connecting with Him. I will try to find those songs on youtube so you can listen to them. Not now though.. I am going to go back to bed. Actually it is 6:00 now.. I might as well shower since we are leaving soon to head to San Francisco.
