please pray

Cedric, the man in the photo, is one of our worship leaders in church.

He is one of the most happy, kindhearted and enthusiastic people i know here on the island.  He often makes me laugh and has an authentic walk with God.

Yesterday at church he said,I have a testimony to share.

   He told us he is alive today because God kept him alive!!!   Here is his testimony:

"I am so glad that I am standing here with you all today because yesterday while at work two men came in and put a knife to my throat and stole all the money in the office.   It was amazing the peace that God gave me!!  I was very calm.  When they asked for the money I was able to tell them that there wasn't any money in any of the other drawers but they could look.   They sat me in a chair, put my head between my legs and told me if I moved they would shoot me.  The whole time I felt the presence of God.  Truly I am alive today because He kept me!"

I almost gave up.
I was right at the edge of a breakthrough but couldn't see it

I am so glad that Cedric was able to remain

calm in the midst of a very difficult situation.   I know it was HIS presence keeping him calm.

I just spoke to him on the phone asking for permission to post this blog and he agreed

saying anything that will help people to PRAY for our island.

And so i implore you, please pray for protection here!

Pray for Cedric and his dear family too.

He told me that earlier today while at work he broke down and cried

realizing that he could have died the other day. 

It is very traumatic to go through something like that.

I thank you for your prayers

I thank God for His mercy that keeps us all.
